we make carpets

Bob, Marcia and Stijn (Amsterdam)  made their first carpet  in 2009 for the Dutch Design week. Not the one you can walk on, but with pine cones and needles. They didn't have a plan, it just happened and never stopped making new ones, always made out of everyday objects. Discover more here.

pigpinata

the children and i made a pinata for new year's eve.
it was filled with candy and confetti.
one by one the children could smack it with a stick (blindfolded).
lots of fun, although the pig didn't survive.
happy new year everyone!

girls only

we had a very girlish afternoon celebrating R's birthday with homemade waffles, pink candles, candy, pink bubbles, glüwhein and a lot of children.
fortunately there was low-calorie whipping cream!

snacks

The children had a rainy-inside-pyama-day and made a real home cinema, with entrance tickets and a small shop with loads of candy. they made candy faces (overdose of sugar and one french frie) and healthy faces (carrot and apple with cinnamon).
