CCOOLL - "Poster Show"from 31 July until 9th August af Kornél, expo by Huis Haas

A risograph poster series with art by CCOOLL and co-released with Issue Press. CCOOLL is a creative co-operative of internet friends specializing in illustration, photography, art direction & design. Issue Press is a small independent publishing house and risograph print shop based in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

woot woot! there's a new place in Antwerp called Copper. 

for breakfast, lunch, pie, soup or collections (lovely ceramics). I already tried the coffee today and it was good (also like the fine selection of magazines :-)

welvaert

we like this green spot in our city. 

welvaert is made by time circus, situated on "het eilandje", near the MAS museum.

bar'ac

Visiting bar'ac was on our to do list for a while, and we went there today.

Last year, the Royal Academy of Fine Arts celebrated its 350th anniversary. It is considered one of the oldest art academies in the western world, along with Paris and Rome. The prestigious Fashion Department opened its doors three hundred years after the academy was founded. Both of these anniversaries were celebrated with exhibitions and activities.

Bar'ac is one of these activities, designed by student Jef Meyer. A handmade bar in the garden of the Academy. A temporary place to read, meet and drink.

mokkakkapot

Last Friday, we visited mokkakapot, a new place (culturebarbar // gallery // bazar) in Antwerp, where you can eat lunch, drink a coffee (made with a delicioso Faema) or a beer
Very nice place, really worth a visit (or two or three...)

PS. the wooden floor, made entirely out of wooden toy blocks is simply magnificent!
