workshop macramé

Last evening, I organised my first workshop at "Het atelier van eva v." :  How to make a macramé planthanger. 

Eight enthousiast women (nine, count me in), lots of rope, plants, a beautiful workspace, drinks and bites. Great combination! And everybody was happy with their result. To be continued...with more workshops!

I've been collecting a lot of creative experience in my life and that's why I've decided to create my own new job. So I'm very happy to announce you: Het atelier van eva v. (graphics in the first picture are petit pois')

pillows

I've made some pillows with graphic print to sell on tomorrow's Krugermarkt. I bought the squared fabric in Kenia few years ago (time flies!), the other fabrics are vintage. See you tomorrow!

macramé

I've made some macramé planthangers (for a market I joined, the next one will be on 13th of September)). These baby pilea's seem to be happy in them.

wildflowers heaven

We've (I am sure I can speak for Katty as well in this case) always been fond of wildflowers. As a child, I came home with self-picked flowers whenever I could. When we rent a holiday house somewhere, the first thing I do is screening the neighbourhood for wildflowers. Unfortunately, since we live in the city, there's not much picking to do...

But today, I've discovered and tested the "bloemenplukweide", 10 minutes by car (without traffic jam) and 40 minutes by bycicle (from Antwerp) Just cut the flowers you want, make your own bill (the prices are marked) and leave the money in a letterbox. Open every day from sunrise till sunset. And if you are there, you can visit the bio shop as well. I've bought myself some pure happiness :-)

hell yeah

Last saturday, our friends said "yes" for real (as we already celebrated it last year in France).  Beside  of being a witness, we were in charge of the dessert buffet and its toppers (and a little bit of decoration too).

While we visited Mokkakapot for an afternoon coffee, we saw this funny exposition.
