potholders for Finn's birth

As a birthtreat, De wenkbrauwerij made these CCC potholders. Colourful, Cotton and Custommade. Would be lovely to have them all in the kitchen...(greedy us)

I crocheted this frame using a bracelet as base and cotton thread for our info*matic (playing this weekend in Amiens, France!)

so easy peasy to do.

you don't need to put a picture in it, it's cute by itself.

little lamp

We've made a little lamp for our info*matics.

pot

we've got two big sansevierias for our wedding (thanx d &k!).

so I crocheted a "pot" out of cotton rope to cover the brown plastic one.

I am happy with the result :-)

I've crocheted this carpet (while watching Homeland) without tutorial.

actually it's like a big potholder.

the end is far

In her new solo show "The End is Far" at Manhattan's Jonathan Levine Gallery, the Polish born street artist Olek (please don't say "yarn-bomber") again covers the entire interior of the exhibition space with the sweet poppy palette in which so much of her street work has been sheathed. Possibly new here is the focus on adornment; brocade and appliqué treatments that are deliberately fussy and feminine, and a dining set that curves toward Victorian.
