followed by a trip to a biiig-ass thrift store in Breda, were ties wore wise words...

after that, lunch in Tilburg, at 'De Burgerij'...cozy thirties house, with B&B

...a digestive walk in the woods (yes, we're getting old :-)

and a warm welcome and plentiful dinner at Momo's parents house...*hips*

But I couldn't find one.

Visiting bar'ac was on our to do list for a while, and we went there today.

Last year, the Royal Academy of Fine Arts celebrated its 350th anniversary. It is considered one of the oldest art academies in the western world, along with Paris and Rome. The prestigious Fashion Department opened its doors three hundred years after the academy was founded. Both of these anniversaries were celebrated with exhibitions and activities.

Bar'ac is one of these activities, designed by student Jef Meyer. A handmade bar in the garden of the Academy. A temporary place to read, meet and drink.

last tuesday, the girls invited me on a birthday-surprise-trip to Nijmegen.

we visited the city center and a shop called "Vivre". 

they sell great industrial furniture, lamps, sometimes in large quantities.

i bought a lamp for our home -smile-
