girls day

it was already on our to do-list for a while, so today the girls went to Eindhoven to see the Piet Hein Eek factory.
(after a little pit-stop in Turnhout's thrift store)
first we visited the the shop . it's huge and filled with beautiful furniture, new and old stuff.
we had lunch in his restaurant and fell in love with the vintage group of lamps.

we also visited Eindhoven itself (read: shop, sit, drink) and had dinner in Usine

We adore this new catalogue of House doctor (Denmark) and are getting very greedy by just looking at the pictures.

Can I have the blue lamp, please? please?

Let's party for Katty's 13 years old (young) son! Maybe we could use paper balloons like these instead of the plastic ones?

nordic design

there's a new store in antwerp : espoo.
they claim to be the first interior/lifestyle shop in belgium, displaying and selling only scandinavian design.
their collections : Asplund, Normann Copenhagen, Ferm living, Design House Stockholm, Hay, Swedese, Hetta, Maze int, ...

not visited it so far, but will definitely go and take a peek pretty soon!

it's almost 'kom dat zien'....really worth a visit, even if it was only for the setting!
you can buy lots of handmade goodies, clothes, and vintage stuff....perhaps even eat a muffin, made by three cute girls (if they don't let them burn :-)
